The gang is all here! And what a gang. We’re so excited to have our Underground Movement Show debut of Craft and Shadi, better known as Twice as Proper. With over 250 events under their belt, a hugely popular (and non-stop) set of production releases, the dynamic duo have been known throughout New York for their MASSIVE blow-outs, and we’re happy to bring just one of those events to you!

On this episode of the UMS show, Twice as Proper welcome ace Italian techno producer, Archetype Records and Nachtstrom Schallplatten’s MAS TEEVEH to the friendly chambers of National Underground. Fresh off recent sets at Tresor in Berlin amongst other world-renowned floors, we’re happy to offer you Mas Teeveh’s DEBUT set in New York City.

And serving up a starter worthy of any entree, it’s one of the current princes of the New York techno scene, Ill Bomb Records and Brooklyn’s own, Justin Schumacher, who absolutely destroyed the crowd this evening. And lest we forget, CGNY partner and previous guest of ER, Chanksy, reminded us why we can’t get his sets out of our heads! Commence drooling.

Massive techno producer from Italy who has releases on over 20 major techno labels including his own, Archetypes Records. His tracks are featured on podcasts such as Drumcode, Droid’s D-Node and he has participated on shows such as Blind Spot, Blank Code, and Feed The Raver. Supported by Perc, Norman Nodge, Dustin Zahn, Dave Clarke, Dr. Hoffman, Monoloc, Speedy J and more. He is known for his techno sets all across Europe.

“Twice as Proper” and their founders:

Twice as Proper is a New York City Based Underground Techno Events organization. Craft & Shadi co-created the movement “Twice as Sweet” which then became “Twice as Proper Sessions”. With an impressive over 200 events and over 100 guest dj bookings, it is now well established in the NYC underground techno scene. 2012 is the 5th year for the organization, and with quite an illustrious list of guest DJ bookings in venues across Manhattan & Brooklyn, there is always something exciting and different to expect from the events. In 2010, Twice as Proper hosted 8 events in Playa del Carmen (Mexico) during the winter, while keeping regular NYC events alive as always. 2011 was fantastic for the two artists bringing International tours in 5 countries (USA, Italy, Egypt, Mexico, Costa Rica), international radio shows, podcasts, music productions, TV coverage (Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica), soundcloud recordings listened to in over 90 countries, new fans and friends. Craft & Shadi have been spinning since 1994 on those legendary Technics 1200’s. Then followed the years of CDJ technology and mixers with effects, always keeping it dark, deep, dirty real serious. They now often perform live mixes with ultimate controllers and live effects. They go on with explosive sets, chopping’ up loops and samples, all while in the mix. The result is always “Massive”. Craft & Shadi promise to rip it Proper.
